The programme is in general intended as a one-year programme. Arrangements will be made however for any part-time students to be able to complete the programme over two years. As required for Masters programmes, the Masters in Business Information Management will have 1,800 hours of study in a variety of for MSc including self-study reading and assignment preparation. The MBIM involves a total of 180 credits, allocated as follows: The compulsory Core Courses, each of 20 credits are: 1. Information System Design, Development & Management The elective modules currently offered each count for 20 credits (the list will be expanded over time). A choice of two is required for the degree from: 1. Foundation of Modern Management Please note that the number of electives offered may vary year-to-year depending on factors such as level of student demand. All students are also required to take a course in research methodology, a pass in which is a condition for being allowed to proceed to the dissertation. This course counts for 20 credits. The third part of the programme is a dissertation on an international topic. Its length shall not exceed 20,000 words This will be allocated 60 credits, making 180 in total. |
